  Episode Summary
Spots And Shots: When Lucky realizes that the vet is coming to the Dearly Farm in order to inoculate the Dalmatians, he decides that he must do everything he can to avoid the vet, since he’s afraid of needles. However, when the farm proves to offer no hiding spots, he decides to hide in Cruella’s mansion until the vet leaves, though he’ll have to avoid just as many dangers there if he wishes to remain hidden.

On The Lamb: The Bark Brigade has received reports that a renegade lamb named Lambo has been running amok in a nearby town. In an attempt to put an end to his madness, Lieutenant Pug takes the cadets on a mission to locate and capture him, though they realize that Lambo’s survivalist experience places him at a strong advantage, especially since he adamantly refuses to return to his flock.

  Episode Quotes
Lucky: Someone put me out of my misery! I wasn’t meant to live the life of a farm animal; I need adventure, excitement, like Thunderbolt! I should be battling insidious villains, facing fur-raging danger, boldly going where no puppy has gone before!
Cadpig: Welcome to Lucky’s Rich Fantasy Life, and now, back to reality.

(Spot turned off the television that Lucky was watching)
Lucky: Hey, who shut it off?
Spot: Sorry, I thought it was over.
Rolly: What’s it matter? All that’s left was a preview of tomorrow’s show.
Cadpig: And we all know what that will be like. A little gratuitous violence, a little male bonding, a big explosion at the end. Kablam! They’re all the same.

  Cultural References
Visual: Mouse shaped hedge.

This is a reference to the character created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks in 1928, Mickey Mouse, in which the character went on to become the symbol of the Walt Disney Company. Mickey Mouse has appeared in countless animated shorts and cartoons since his conception and his name is nearly synonymous with Disney. The reference is made in the episode ‘On The Lamb’, in which the hedge shaped like Mickey Mouse can be seen outside of the nursery when the Dalmatians are looking for Lambo.

Lambo: I’m no little lost lamb, I’m Lambo!

This is a reference to the 1982 film entitled First Blood, which stared Sylvester Stallone and Brian Dennehy. It was directed by Ted Kotcheff and its plot focused on a Vietnam war veteran who, after being abused by a small town’s police force, decides to start a one man war against it. Likewise, Lambo’s appearance in the episode ‘On The Lamb’ looks reminiscent to that of Rambo’s character in the said film.
