Ivy’s Influence
In the episode ‘Poison Ivy’, Ivy was a subordinate of her aunt, Cruella De Vil, in which Cruella told Ivy exactly what to do and she carried out her plans accordingly. However, in the episode ‘Beauty Pageant Pandemonium’, Ivy takes on a dominant role and she orders Cruella to do her bidding in order to help her win the Grutely beauty pageant. Ivy’s tactics in both episodes involved manipulation and deceit in order to improve her chances of success, though Ivy’s influence as a De Vil has expanded, which is evidenced by Cruella’s sudden obedience towards her niece’s demands. |
