Episode Quotes |
| |
Rebecca: You’ve been staring at me all afternoon, it’s like you’ve never seen a lass before.
Lucky: I’ve never seen a girl like you, Rebecca, you’re so different.
Rebecca: Are there no carriage-hounds where you come from then?
Lucky: No, there aren’t.
Rebecca: What do you Dalmatians do then?
Lucky: Lots of things! I like to watch TV, love TV, can’t get enough TV.
Rebecca: What’s TV?
Lucky: Uh, that’s funny, I don’t remember. | (Dimsdale De Vil has just stepped out of the carriage that was being pulled)
Dimsdale: (to the driver) You drive like a feeble old goat! Back to the stable with ye’, I have business with the local fools.
Cadpig: Nice guy; must be on a lunch break from the inquisition.
Spot: Ooh, that guy gives me the shivers. I know I’ve seen him before.
Lucky: (infatuated with Rebecca, a carriage-hound) W-wh-what guy?
(Lucky starts walking towards Rebecca)
Spot: Where’s he going? There’s something strange about this place.
Cadpig: I’ll say! No telephones, no electricity, no smog! This must be some sort of cutting-edge, pro-environmental commune! I wonder where they keep the organic garden. | Roger: Oh, wow, something tells me we’re not in Grutely anymore. (reading the town’s sign) De Vil Ville? Oh, I should have guessed Cruella was behind this.
Anita: But Roger, we’re a half mile from home and there was nothing here yesterday. Even her millions couldn’t build all this overnight. | Anita: Roger, hurry up, you slow poke!
Roger: (carrying a picnic basket) Uh, this basket is getting heavier by the minute. (he looks down to discover Rolly, who is biting onto the basket) Rolly! (laughing) Come on, let go big fellow.
Lucky: No premature picnicking, we can’t eat until we find a spot.
Rolly: My stomach votes for right here.
Cadpig: Picnics aren’t about food, they’re about sunshine, and fresh air…
Spot: (interrupting, noticing some fog) And Fog! | (Scorch is pulling Cruella’s go-cart)
Cruella: That’s my ferret bestest baby, everybody needs exercise! I get mine exercising my iron-will! | Spot: (seeing the painting of Dimsdale De Vil) That’s him all right! Judge Dimsdale De Vil, born 1631; that would make him, let’s see, nine minus three, carry the two over the tens column… A ghost! A zombie! An evil spirit doomed to walk among the living! And worse still, he’s related to Cruella! | (Rolly was just taken inside of the butcher shop in order to eat free food)
Cadpig: What have I always told you? If you can dream it, you can achieve it! | Cadpig: I never thought I’d say this, but I’ve actually found an ecologically sound paradise on earth!
Rolly: I never thought I’d say this, but I’m full!
Cadpig and Rolly: I love this place! | Lucky: Ugh, yuck! I don’t care who’s in trouble, did you have to kiss me?
Spot: You would never have believed me if I didn’t! It’s all part of a horrible, terrible curse!
Lucky: And getting kissed by a chicken is better? Come on, have to go find Roger and Anita, and get out of town.
Rebecca: (under the effect of the curse) But why, Lucky? You could be happy here, working for Judge De Vil with me! He’s such a kind man. | Lucky: Come through the gate, Rebecca, I want you to come with me!
Rebecca: Oh, I cannot, I have to stay here; looks like it’s up to us Dalmatians to keep the evil De Vils in check. Now, go on with ye’, you have to protect your world and I have to protect mine. |
