Based on the television series, '1000 Ways To Die', the series '1000 Ways to Lie' takes lies people have told and recreated them into how and what happened when it was discovered. Along with this, the series hosted interviews from people who have studied lying. At the beginning there was a warning that they were based in scams and that if people were to try them, they would be arrested.
Created by Aliyah Silverstein and narrated by John Glover, the series failed to attract an audience and wasn't kept around after the first episode. Airing on Spike TV in 2010, the only episode, "Natural Born Liars" talks about 6 different cases.
In this episode, they take a look into the life of a drug smuggler, a felon with dreams to be an FBI agent and lies on an application to get in, a man who lied to his wife to get away from her, a woman giving birth to bunnies, a woman pretending to be a man and a an identity thief.
