Episode Quotes
Bill: What the hell's going on, Jack?
Jack: The military authority, every law enforcement agency across this country has a warrant for my arrest.
Bill: What for?
Jack: Killing David Palmer.
Bill: That's impossible, we cleared you this morning.

Audrey: Thank you so much for doing this.
Secretary of Defense James Heller: Well, I don't know what it is that I'm doing so don't thank me yet.

Secretary of Defense James Heller: I'd like to believe ya, Jack, but you're acting like a criminal!
Jack: I don't have a choice! They're setting me up.

Secretary of Defense James Heller: I watched Charles Logan rise on the tide of his own ambition, I was terrified when he took the oath.

Chloe: I don't believe you.
Shari Rothenberg: Why not?
Chloe: Because you're a bad liar.

Chloe: Miles set me up and you helped!
Shari Rothenberg: You're working against us, Chloe.
Chloe: You've no idea what you've done!
Shari Rothenberg: Miles said...
Chloe: Miles is an idiot! If anyone should know that, it should be you! I can't believe you went along with him!

President Logan: You know what, Mike? I am tired of being second guessed. I've been dealing with-with-with... world war crises for the last eighteen hours and I think I've done a pretty damn good job of leading the country!
Mike Novick: Of course, Mr. President.

Miles Papazian: You think the rules don't apply to you because you're smarter than the rest of us but I have news for you... they do. And you're not. I won't miss you when you're gone.
Chloe: Miles! (grabs Miles and his keycard)
Miles Papazian: Don't touch me.

Chloe: Miles... I don't think you're as big of a jerk as you pretend to be.

Shari Rothenberg: What are you doing, Chloe? You're supposed to be in custody.
Chloe: Miles let me out.
Shari Rothenberg: You're a worse liar than I am.

Chloe: (to Shari) You know your sexual harassment charges against Miles? I know you were lying. You're sick and you need help and if you try to stop me and it turns out I'm right about Jack, which I am, I will recommend you for psychiatric evaluation! And you won't like that, trust me!

President Logan: I don't like your tone, James. In case you've forgotten, you're addressing the President of the United States.
Secretary of Defense James Heller: I know who I'm addressing. And I think you know exactly what this is about.

Martha Logan: If you know what it is, will you please tell me?
Agent Aaron Pierce: I can't.
Martha Logan: You can't? Or you won't?

President Logan: I hope this was important.
Secretary of Defense James Heller: I know what you did, I know what you're doing and I'm here to put an end to it.

President Logan: I would like to hear it.
Secretary of Defense James Heller: Why? You know exactly what you said and so do I. It's burned into my memory.

Secretary of Defense James Heller: Your chair is not a throne, Charles.
President Logan: I'm protecting the interests of our country.
Secretary of Defense James Heller: You mean oil.
President Logan: Yes! YES! This country needs energy more than you or anybody in this gridlocked government cares to admit! We'll see how you judge me when the cost of oil goes up over a hundred dollars a barrel and the people who put me in office can't afford to heat their homes or run their cars!
Secretary of Defense James Heller: And you think that justifies the blood on your hands?

Christopher Henderson: I'm protecting something much more important than Charles Logan.
Jack: What?
Christopher Henderson: The integrity of our government.
Jack: Our government has no integrity! Not when someone like Charles Logan occupies the Presidency!

President Logan: There must be something I can give you, something that you want?
Secretary of Defense James Heller: You're giving me exactly what I want.
