3rd Rock From the Sun was definitely an original idea for a television series, and one of the funniest shows from the last two decades. I love it.
While some of the episodes from the last couple of seasons were rather weak, the writing was good and the show overall was incredibly entertaining. Not to mention it had some of the most memorable story lines compared to other shows from it's time period. The cast was strong, very talented, and worked great together ... and with great guest appearances by the likes of William Shatner, who could ask for more?
