When Sandy (Haylie Duff) asks Simon (David Gallagher) to take her to the hospital for what she thinks are labor pains, she admits that she only slept with Martin (Tyler Hoechlin) to make Simon jealous. Meanwhile, Eric (Stephen Collins) learns the hard way that Simon's given Rose (Sarah Thompson) an engagement ring, and he must also decide whether or not to allow Ruthie (Mackenzie Rosman) to date a seemingly much older boy. Also, Lucy (Beverley Mitchell) is disappointed to learn that almost her entire family is aware of Martin's situation, which she had hoped to keep private.
