Episode Notes
Following this episode, Gena Rowlands would not appear again in the series until episode #25 Step Forward.

Ross Martin would go onto play secret agent Artemus Gordon on the classic CBS series The Wild, Wild West.

John Dennis had just finished a stint playing mobster Dutch Schultz on The Lawless Years.

Episode Quotes
Joe: All right, I'll go.
Johnny Boy: We thought you would.

Kling: Our boys know their jobs.
Carella: So do Tobin's.

Carella: This could be more than you're bargaining for, Joe.
Joe: I'm not bargaining.

Carella: (to Joe about the suspects) You thought they'd check in after every job to see if you're ready to identify them?

Carella: (to Rose): Lady, I have been lied to by experts and your husband is no expert.

Ross Martin wins acting honors here as a Hungarain immigrant who's a reluctant witness to a mob killing. Gena Rowlands also puts in another excellent performance. Sadly, she would disappear from the series and not appear again until much later.
