Episode Notes
Gena Rowlands makes her fourth and final appearance of the series as Teddy Carella, the beautful deaf mute wife of lead protagonist Steve Carella.

Ray Teal would later have a recurring role as Sheriff Roy Coffey on the classic NBC western Bonanza.

Once again we see that the Carellas are one of the first TV couples to sleep in the same bed although they are not shown in the bed together.

Episode Quotes
Carella: (to Teddy) You know something, I'm beginning to hate payday. All it does is remind me of the treadmill I'm on.

Havilland: Hey, Steve. Where are you going?
Carella: You're the detective. You figure it out.

Carella: (to Teddy) Just once I'd like to have the last word with you.

Frank: Any special orders, Chief?
Carella: Keep a sharp lookout.

Carella: Mr. Frost, what am I for?
Frost: You mean what do you do around here?

Carella: (to Teddy about his office) I thought we could move out of the apartment and move in here.

Barrows: Why don't you go out and earn an honest buck?
Carella: This is more fun.

Analysis
Kind of a breezy episode which spends more time dealing with Carella's personal life than the usual police detective work. Still, the episode works well and it's always nice to see Gena Rowlands.
