Recap

The scene opens with Dr. Michael Holt operating on an important media icon and succeeds. He talks to the press and tells them that everything went fine. He goes for a jog afterward and hears a car crash and sees a basketball bounce down the street. However, there is nothing there and the basketball has a smiley face on it. He gets into the office and Ronald’s secretary, Rita, comes up and says that he has a meeting with a famous tennis star. Madeline comes in to the meeting and says that she needs 15 minutes. Rita says that it is her birthday, but Michael is too absorbed in work to care. Michael meets with the parents of the tennis star and they are full of questions when Michael says that it could be an aneurism in her brain, but he has to run a few tests to make sure. Michael goes into see Ronnie, the patient that he was operating on in the beginning. He tells him that he has to abstain from everything because he doesn’t want to mess up his surgery before the bone heals. He agrees...
