	Edina "Eddy" Monsoon, played by Jennifer Saunders Edina is mother to Saffy and Serge and best friends with Patsy. Edina works in the fashion business but does very little work and is easily distracted. Edina doesn't have a close relationship with her mother and daughter but adores her son Serge who lives in America. She has been married twice but neither marriage lasted very long.
