Patsy's real age is revealed after she is exposed as having an affair with a leading politician. After stubbing her toe, Edina insists on having surgery on it. Patsy decides to have a face lift with disastrous results.

When Edina's father passes away, Saffy is upset that her mother is more concerned about her weight than his death. Edina realises that she is also mortal and decides to spend a small fortune on some art she doesn't even want just so she can leave something behind when she dies.

After agreeing to put a fashion spread in her magazine promoting Edina's new product called Pop-Specs, Patsy heads off to Marrakesh for the photo shoot with Edina and Saffy. Unhappy with Saffy tagging along, Patsy ends up selling her to white slave traders.

Edina's friends Bettina and Max are coming for a visit and remembering how minimalistic they are she attempts to make the house presentable, even getting Patsy to leave. When Bettina and Max show up Edina discovers that they have had a baby and they clutter her house up with baby things.

When Edina's mother accidentally locks them in Edina tries to talk to her daughter about sex.
