Episode Notes

This was part two of the series finale.

Four different crews were used to film the scenes required for the final episode following all three story lines and the in-studio material. All together it took two days to film the entire episode.

The scene just before the credits was originally due to be filmed in the kitchen but was later changed for a reason that is unknown. You can see footage from the original shots in the outtakes section of the DVD's.

Episode Quotes

Saffy: This is not how it's going to be anymore mom. I'm not going to be here just to put you to bed, feed you, stub out your joints, clean up the sick, lie for you, disapprove of you... and not just you (To Patsy) you as well! Cesspit from hell! Stinking bag of bones that haunts this house everyday like a moldering cadaver! Leeching the life-blood out of everything it can get its filthy suckers onto, we'll I'm fed up with being suckered! I will not take this anymore, this is not how it's going to be!

Patsy: Feels just like the old days Eddie.
Eddy: Actually Pats, it's only been three days.
Patsy: Huh. Felt longer.

Patsy: Darling, if you want to talk bollocks and discover the meaning of life, you're better off downing a bottle of whiskey. At least that way, you're unconscious by the time you start to take yourself seriously.

Episode Goofs

The constant goof that follows the series until the end, objects moving around on tables between takes. It happens again in the New York Conference Room.

When Saunders is getting air humped by the other woman you can see her beginning to crack up several times and catch herself. However she can't help smiling about it.

As they make their way into their new home as older women, you can see Lumley holding up the panties through her skirt that she later drops.
