Andy, played by Larry Joe Campbell (1)
He plays the brother-in-law, who keeps Jim out of trouble most of the time from Cheryl. He is a Junior partner with Jim in a construction company called "Grounds Up". In his spare time along with Jim is playing keyboards for the blues band.
 
 
Cheryl, played by Courtney Thorne-Smith
She is a loving wife and mother to three kids, Ruby, Gracie, Kyle and now the new arrival of their twin boys, Jonathan and Gordon. When Jim is laying, she sees right through him and catches him in the acted, but in the end they always says "I LOVE YOU"!
 
 
Dana (Gibson) [S1-S7], played by Kimberly Williams
She is the loveable sister-in-law, who has trouble finding boyfriends and works for an agency. She finally finds Mr. Right, who is a doctor. His name is Ryan Gibson, and he asks her to marry him and later has a son. Who Jim helps deliver because Ryan was gone.
 
 
Gracie, played by Billi Bruno
She played the middle child until the twins were born. Like Taylor, she also grew up on the show. You can tell from seeing her when the series premiere.
 
 
Jim, played by Jim Belushi
Jim and his wife, Cheryl, has five lovely kids, Ruby, Gracie, Kyle and twins, Gordon and Jonathan. He has his own construction company called 'Grounds Up' with his brother-in-law, Andy.

In his spare time he's in the garage with his blues band.
 
 
Kyle [S4-S8], played by Conner Rayburn
He plays the youngest child on the show and the only son. Now, he's the big brother due to Jim and Cheryl having twin sons, Gordon and Jonathan.
 
 
Ruby, played by Taylor Atelian
She plays the oldest daughter on the show. From the series premiere until now, she has really grown up on the show. She just became a teenager, turning 13 yrs. old.
