Description:
Second series of this intriguing paranormal drama from ITV. Pulling off that rare trick for a TV show of actually being unnerving and sometimes scary, it follows the life of a psychic being torn apart by her abilities, the ghost of her mother that haunts her house and the fallout from a terrifying rail crash. The doubts of a cynical professor who is writing a book on her case doesn't help matter much either, but in this series, unsettling events regarding his dead son from series one along with news of a fatal illness, make him question his black and white view on the afterlife. This is British drama at it's best, a more sedate, subtle and character led take on ghostly happenings and the darkside than the somewhat brash American genre shows.
