The scene opens with a man seducing a bank teller and injecting her with something to make her pass out. He then takes a bow pistol to open deposit boxes and starts stealing. While he's doing the deed, an associate walks in on him. With the bow pistol he uses to open the deposit box, Sweeney takes the tool to the associates head. Flashback time as we go back to Sweeney working in the laundry room of Alcatraz. In this room, Sweeney talks with his protégé about having no feelings about anything and anyone. It seems as though someone has stolen something that has importance to him. A tin box is the item. We meet our heroes in a local Asian cuisine restaurant. They deal in Doc's past and in the reason why he became a comic book owner with two degrees. Apparently, he was black listed for an article he wrote. ..

Episode Goofs
Rebecca Madsen gives her title a number of times as 'Detective'. While the SFPD indeed has detectives, they call their detectives "inspectors" rather than the traditional title.
The shield that Rebecca flashes on a number of occasions to identify herself as a SFPD "detective" (should be Inspector) is not the proper golden seven-pointed star issued to SFPD, but the shield used to identify FBI agents.
