Recap

The scene opens with Clarence Montgomery having a drink at a bar. He is in fact at an auction dinner. He makes eye contact with a beautiful woman. They end up chatting. She openly flirts with him. They two of them end up speeding in a golf buggy on an empty golf course. The next scene shows him with a bloodstained shirt, and the woman dead in his arms; with him wondering what just happened. Her throat has been slit. He lays her down on the golf course, sobbing and asking “who did this to you”. Back to the 60’s, and we see Clarence as one of the prisoners in Alcatraz. He is entrusted with kitchen duty, and told to see the warden. It turns out Clarence is quite the chef; he proves that to the warden, who already knows it. ..
