Episode Quotes |
| |
Lennox: I could've sworn you were a blonde.
Sydney: I was. My hair's usually brown. Hard to keep track. | Lennox: Emma used to say that she had spent so much of her life pretending to be other people that she was afraid she might disappear. And I have been sitting here trying to remember all her aliases and you're right. It's hard to keep track.
Sydney: I lost my fiancé last year and I know we're trained to compartmentalize things that hurt too much, but I still haven't been able to do that. As hard as it is, I would rather feel it than to not feel anything. |

Audio/Video: "Moving in Stereo" plays in the background as Sydney gets out of the pool in slow motion
This scene is a nod to the famous scene in Fast Times at Ridgemont High where Phoebe Cates gets out of the pool in Judge Reinhold's fantasy. | Kendall: Dr. Renzo Markovic, a former R&D scientist who's been developing a new classified technology under the project heading "Helix."
The name "Project Helix" and the theme of the "double" is a play on the scientific term 'Double Helix,' which is the shape taken by the DNA molecule. A helix is a three-dimensional spiral, like the shape of a spring or the railing on a spiral staircase. A DNA molecule consists of two helixes intertwined. It's a key of life that all of us have. |
