Italo Calvino's Mr. Palomar

Italo Calvino was a Twentieth Century Italian writer and novelist. Mr. Palomar was written in 1983 and it revolves around the title character who is set in several situations which he analyzes to a degree almost of unreality, always trying to order and meaning in everything.

Alice's Adventures in Wonderland
