I thought it was a pretty good series finale all in all. It kind of seemed a bit rushed the way everything just happened all at once, but it was all worth it to see the look on Sydney's face as she repeatedly shot Sloane. (I've been waiting for that moment for so long) But he got what he deserved at the end-- I can't think of a more fitting punishment for him. It was also nice to see into Sydney's future and how she would end up.. that after all the pain and suffering she's had to go through she wound up happy. It was a good ending.
While I really enjoyed the last few episodes, it's still obvious that the show has become just a shadow of it's former self in recent years. But I still honestly think that it's better than 90% of other television out there anyway. I'll miss it, that's for sure, but I'm still glad it ended. There wasn't anymore story to tell and it was time for it to end. Atleast the DVD's will always be here. |

Wow.. I'm not sure what to say, except for.. I'm really happy that Alias - after everything that it's gone through.. mainly all the issues with ABC - got the stellar and proper ending it deserved. And how great was this shot at the very end:

yeah i liked the ending. i agree that the sloane ending was pretty ironic (and hilarious). it was a nice ending. maybe a little more campy than i usually like. but after everything that the character had gone thru, it was a fitting end for her and vaughns character.
and you're right dorkus. it is better than most of the crap they roll out these days, even if alias was on a decline. |

I missed so many episodes. I hope they have reruns.
Does anyone know what city Sloane got his virus from? |

The first season and a half of Alias were great. Then they changed the format and it went downhil, but I kept watching, though with diminishing returns. Then much of this fifth season was unwatchable; all the new characters I didn't care about, etc... The series finale was just OK, but dang this show started out great, and ended up being not all that special. Is this what's going to happen with Lost? |

Am I alone on this or does anyone else also thinks the Sydney/Irina's showdown was totally out of character? |
