The entertainment reporter named Robert raises his young son Bobby Jr. while balancing the demands of his ex-wife Neesee who dislikes Robert's new girlfriend, Tia. As much as the two don't even get along anymore, things are more complicated for Robert.

2 :01x02 - Birthdaze

When Neesee and Tia try to out-do each other by planning separate birthday parties for Bobby Jr., Robert insists they have one party for the boy. The Bobby he believes Robert and Neesee will getting back together. But that's all a lie because Robert and Neesee never could agree on things at all, but they realize that they love Bobby and that they will continue loving each other but will not be together anymore, Bobby feels like later trying again to put the two back together but eventually after hurting Tia's feelings about her leaving Robert, it's to no avail and Bobby learns from it.

3 :01x03 - Here Comes the Bride

Tia is cleaning out Robert's closet, to bring in the new stuff in there lives but Tia looses her cool when she discovers a video of his wedding to Neesee.

4 :01x04 - Kindergarten Confidential (a.k.a. Kitchen Confidential)

Robert is preparing for a big interview with the R&B/Hip-Hop/Pop star celebrity of the year, Beyonce Knowles. But things get a little bit difficult when Dirk decides to tell Robert what to ask him. Neesee becomes room mother for Bobby Jr.'s kindergarten class, and buddies up to his teacher---and Tia's best friend---Jonelle.

5 :01x05 - Say My Name, Say My Name

Robert is absolutely upset when he learns Tia will not officially plan to take his name once they're married. He also confronts Neesee one on one about why she's kept his name since they were divorce

6 :01x06 - Uncle Marcus Comes to Dinner

Neesee starts dating a handsome dentist, but Robert becomes jealous, but claims his concern is for Bobby Jr only. As Neesee soon feels torn between the two.

7 :01x07 - Spatial Profiling

A network station runs a profile of Robert that makes it appear Tia is Bobby Jr.'s mother. But as much as it is fun, Neesee isn't pleased at all and when Bobby's classmates mistake her for his nanny, she loses her grip and confronts Tia's job by lodging a complaint with the school, which forbids teachers from dating parents.

8 :01x08 - Tia Moves In

Robert decides to finally let the woman she loves,Tia move in with him, but the transition proves bumpy for Bobby Jr. As he feels that Tia will take over the family but Neesee must help him understand the facts. Also, Jonelle sublets Tia's apartment and hosts a party for her new neighbors.

9 :01x09 - Jonny Comes Marching Home

An old friend of Roberts named Johnny comes back home to spend some time with the family and with Neesee, but the two actually become a bit more closer than ever since Robert and Neesee aren't together anymore.

10 :01x10 - Out of the Picture

When Robert and Neesee prepare to hjave sex, they suspect that Bobby Jr. walked in on them while making love, Bobby Jr also decides to draw what he see's and dares showing it to Neesee who won't be pleased.

11 :01x11 - I Saw Tia Kissing Santa Claus

Bobby Jr believes that Santa Claus did actually kiss Nia, but to not know that it was her father kissing her in the Santa Claus costume. Also, Tia's father's relationship with another woman has become a bit jealousy for her to get use to since her mother passed away.

12 :01x12 - Catering

When Neesee decides to quit catering it leaves Bobby into a various amount of pain that he has to be upset over the fact that ehr mother isn't working or isn't spending time with him anymore. Meanwhile, Dirk is surprised when he falls not only a sexy superstar, but for his lawyer!

13 :01x13 - Used ta Be My Girl

Robert becomes jealous when an old friend of Tia's tries to get back together with her again after being splitted up.

14 :01x14 - Boxing

Outraged and angry that her son Bobby Jr has been knocked out by his former friend, Robert decides to teach Bobby Jr how to box, but eventually Neesee doesn't at all liket he fact that Bobby is getting into this and demands Robert to stop him from getting hurt.

15 :01x15 - Jonny Come Lately (1)

When the gang decide to go on a road trip to Las Vegas, Neesee and Johnny feel a bit more than just friends which makes Robert feel uncomfortable with the situation.

16 :01x16 - Jonny Come Lately (2)

Continuing with the road trip, Neesee and Johnny decide to spread the news that there getting married but Robert isn't pleased at all. So afterwords Johnny and Neesee decide to take it slow and not rush untill there ready.

17 :01x17 - O Brother, Where Art Thou?

Robert's mother collapse when she comes for a visit to see how her son is doing and Dirk's brother has confessed he had sex-change operation.

18 :01x18 - A Family Affair

Carmen, is Robert's sister and demands to have some money for her "get rich-quick" scheme so she can become more fabolous and popular than all the others. But Neesee finds out about the fact that Tia gave Carmen some money for support when the money belonged to Bobby Jr's.

19 :01x19 - Wedding Dance

Tia really wants her wedding in a summerbeach but Robert thinks that she might make him pay for it because the wedding in that place is expensive.

20 :01x20 - Thirty Candles

Robert totally forgets about Tia's birthday when Bobby and Neesee come with a gift. So he later asks Neesee to enlist a catering for Tia's birthday.

21 :01x21 - Playdate

Since Bobby isn't getting enough attention with the populat kids and so...Robert and Neesee schedule him on a playdate with the popular kids for some communication.

22 :01x22 - It Takes Three to Tango

The wedding is now ready and set, Robert and Neesee realize that being together could be a nightmare also. When Tia realizes that spending time with Robert could also mean spending time with Neesee and decides not to go through with the situation at all which causes more tensions with Neesee and Robert too.

23 :02x01 - Reunited and It Doesn't Feel That Good

When Neesee tries to explain to tia and robert about the breakup, she appologizes about the situation. But when Tia tries to explain why she needs space, Robert then seduces her.

24 :02x02 - Return of the Mack

When a fireman takes a flirting action on Tia, Robert becomes much more jealous and even more outraged. Also, Bobby Jr is copying Robert's behavior.

25 :02x03 - The Kiss Off

Tia wants to reconcile with robert but soon finds out that this time Robert does need space. Also, Robert and Neesee help Bobby Jr. with his back health.

Dirk is thinking of divorcing Jonelle and hiding money from her after still not agreeing and having situations with there love life. Plus, Robert helps Bobby with a theraphy session that he's willing to fix.

Tia is invited by Robert to go to New York but as they try to spend time with each other, there love-life is being interupted quickly. Plus Robert is also suppose to interview Serena Williams.

Neesee compete's with her former rival on a school fundraiser, and Tia and Robert are trying spend there love life away from interupters Jonelle and Dirk.

Robert is now known as the weekend host of the series “Entertainment Tonight,” which brings up his relationship working with Dirk on "Mr. L.A.".

Robert must officially make two choices either working with "Entertainment Tonight" or "Mr. L.A." and he must make some understandment between him and Dirk. And Sara finds out about Neesee and Rusty dating, which makes her very unhappy.

Tia and Robert have had late thoughts to think that Neesee is actually pregnant, when Tia finds a used pregnancy test in the bedroom.

Bobby cheats on an aptitude test and then gets more than he bargained for when he's asked to take part in an annual academic competition. Meanwhile, Neesee's new friend sets her up on a date, but Neesee discovers that the man has a strange fetish.

A store manager catches Bobby stealing sneakers, which he wanted so he could fit in with the popular kids at school. Meanwhile, Neesee babysits her neighbor's newborn niece and realizes how much she enjoys caring again for an infant.

During his 15th college reunion weekend, Robert finds himself attracted to Deborah Cooper, a professor he had a crush on back in his college days. Hoping to meet an eligible bachelor at the reunion, Neesee reconnects with Fitz Escoffrey, a national television sports reporter. Robert believes Fitz stole his successful career when he tripped Robert during a college basketball game and made the game-winning basket. Wanting to settle the feud, Robert challenges Fitz to a one-on-one basketball game, but injures himself before the game while trying to romance Professor Cooper.

83 :04x17 - It Was Fun While It Lasted

Neesee realizes she wants to have another baby and visits a fertility clinic to research potential sperm donors. When she finds the donor she prefers, she decides to meet the guy face-to-face. Meanwhile, Robert and Dirk spend an evening hitting on women, and Dirk finds success when he meets Jill. Tensions between Robert and Dirk escalate when Dirk is continuously late to work.

84 :04x18 - The Boy Is Mine

Dirk is still upset with Robert over their on-screen fight and refuses to speak to him. Needing a friend, Robert turns to Ben, the man Neesee has been dating, and begins to spend more time with him. Neesee confronts Robert about stealing her man and encourages him to make up with Dirk. Before Robert can apologize, his boss makes a decision that affects Dirk's career.

85 :04x19 - Everything Happens for a Reason

Believing he was wrongfully terminated, Dirk sues Robert and his former television show. Neesee reveals to Ben that their meeting was not coincidence, but was orchestrated by her as a way to meet the man whose sperm she selected from a fertility clinic. With this news, Neesee and Ben decide whether or not to take their relationship to the next level.

Robert begins to spend time with a single mother, Kate and her son Patrick, upsetting Bobby, who thinks his father is should be spending more time with him. Courtney is heartbroken after her boyfriend breaks up with her. Dirk has a hard time comforting Courtney and seeks Neesee's help and advice.

Robert finds out that Neesee is planning to visit a sperm bank in order to have a baby and questions her reasoning for going through with the procedure. Michelle accompanies Neesee to the sperm bank for support and Neesee makes a decision that could affect the rest of her life.

Neesee invites Robert on an all-expense paid trip to her mother's second wedding in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Robert and Neesee make an unexpected stop in a small town where they are mistaken for Beyonce and Jay-Z. Later, Neesee and Robert make a decision about a second baby that could alter their relationship.
