The "super hero" premise may be old, but the stories are original, and believable. Acting's not bad either.

As a previous reviewer stated the theme isn't unique but it's good, solid writing. This makes the story and the characters engaging. The production value is very high and it's beautifully shot.
What makes this show stand out however, is the acting. Especially from David Strathairn as Dr. Lee Rosen and Ryan Cartwright as Gary Bell. I cant remember when I saw such detailed emoting and well timed dialogue! Especially not on teve!
I really hope syfy lets this show live out its natural cycle (giving it a logical conclusion and no "milking an extra season).
