Francine: I told you I wanted the Femwagon. This is the Phallus.
Stan: No, it's the Phallus ES. Felix said it was the last one on the lot. I had to act fast or this other guy was totally going to buy it. (Pauses) Son of a bitch! He mind-raped me! Don't worry, honey. No car salesman is going to get the better of me. (Drives off in the Phallus ES; returns in Francine's original car) Is she a beauty or what?
Francine: Stan, that's my old car.
Stan: Correction: it's your new pre-owned car, and I got it for a sweet ten grand.
Francine: We sold it to him for seven.
Stan: Yeah, but he let me keep the Phallus for no extra charge.
Francine: Because you already paid for it!
Stan: Francine, there's a lot of math - man math - involved in a car purchased that... (Pauses) Damn it!

| Pan Flute Tone
Whenever Stan appears in the scene in his new clothes, we hear a pan flute tone. This sound comes from the movie Kill Bill.
| Bullock Playing the Banjo
The scene where Bullock plays the banjo after Stan leaves; he is playing the song "When I'm Cleaning Windows" by George Formby.
| The Breakfast Club
The movie that the kids watch, and Roger recites line for line, was taken directly from the movie The Breakfast Club. Even the animation was crafted to look like the real scene from the Breakfast Club, and the voice playing was the real voice from the movie.
| Roger: Hey, Algernon, what's wrong with you? Can't you get an idea without saying it out loud?
Roger calling Steve Algernon is a reference to the 1966 novel Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes. In the book, Algernon is a mouse who was surgically enhanced to become more intelligent. The first human test subject, Charlie, who is a mentally disabled janitor, also becomes highly intelligent, but slowly loses his intelligence due to a flaw with the surgical procedure.
