It's revealed in the DVD commentary for this episode that James Caan was originally the voice of the character Helicopter Perry, but after he recorded his lines, he was replaced by John Fener because James portrayal was “almost effeminate”.
The character's name, Philippe Monday, is named after the former stage name of the father of writer and producer, Nahnatchka Khan
