Episode Summary

Jake is called for testing by the Dragon council so Jake, Fu and Lao Shi go to Draco isle in order for Jakes tests to be carried out. Jake's early shot for popularity is hindered by a dragon called Fred Nerk, the Australian dragon. In order to pass, Jake must pass 2 out of the 3 tests that the Dragon council has in store for him. A new and more deadly foe then the huntsman also pops up.

Episode Notes

This is the first episode where we see the dragon Council and Dragons of other countries including Fred Nerk from Australia

We find out that one of the councillors, Chang is secretly working for the Dark Dragon

We learn the dark dragon is the greatest threat to The magical communtiy. The Huntsmaster is the fourth greatest.

This episode marks the first appearance of the Dark Dragon.

Cultural References

Book This episode resembled Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, by JK Rowling. Note the 3 tasks, a new rival and a major villain feared by all who the main character's mentor was the only person to survive a real fight with him.
