Wow well even NBC has hit rock bottom by trying to revive a show that even in its day was only slightly entertaining. heck I only watched the original one because of Lace (who lalter posed nude).

I guess the Steroidster I mean Hulkster must be desperate for cash by doing this. Oh well it'll be good for a laugh like the original was.

It does look pretty terrible, but with the strike I'm sure the other networks will be cranking out retooled reality shows left and right too.

Crap? This show was a favourite when I was younger. I thought bringing it back was totally sweet. Not to mention some of the girl glads are quite nice.

i watched it last night....

it wasn't bad, but the play by play guy is incredibly bland. hulkster wasn't bad, nor was kid ali. it's still better than "reality tv"

The only thing i didn't like about AG was the Gladiators seem to give up at times. The gauntlet for example, they could have stopped all 4 people easily but suddenly let them pass.

yeah, i noticed that too, but tonight, i'm watching it again, one gladiator got penalized because he didn't let him go when he touched a line.... it does seem like they used to be more difficult on the contenders back in the day.

now i'm just gonna nitpick... cause that's what i do -

-i wish hang tough had more rings.
-power ball's "scoring thingies" had smaller openings
-crush's top would come off

I almost needed a cigarette.

I laughed when 1 chick was penalized for punching at a Gladiator during the gauntlet. Plus she had started too early and the ref called her on it
