The episode started off by introducing some singers that we'll see over the auditions, then went to the actual auditions. Derek Dupree was the first contestant, he claimed to be able to sing in three different pitches. He offered to come back in one hour to sing, the judges reluctantly accepted. Katrina Yaukey was the second contestant, she didn't make it to Hollywood. Justin Sticht came next, he sang a Queen song and Beyond the Sea. He also did not make it to Hollywood. Contestant 897 claims he did not make it through because his legs were too hairy, although he was wearing a dress and a wig with blonde pigtails. ..
