The results show is underway and the acts have performed and the votes counted, but how gets the four spots available? The show kicks off with Nick coming out to the audience and he announces that the cast of “American Idiot” is going to be in the building and Sara McLaughlin. Howie tells that he is happy that they don’t have to vote and that the night was a phenomenal night.

Michael Grasso and Prince Poppycock enter the stage to get their judgment and they recount their performance. Piers is shocked that they are both up there and the act going through to the Top 4 is Prince Poppycock. Michael Grasso tells that all his dreams have come true and they have not seen the last of him. Prince Poppycock says dreams can come true and Sharon tells that it is bittersweet and that it is just amazing.

The cast of “American Idiot” perform and they entertain the crowd from a new spin on the American Idiot CD by Green Day that has sold a lot of copies all over the world. Nick meets the cast and asks how they keep it fresh. They say that have people coming from around the world and they deserve a good show every time. So they can’t help but get up and dance to the music.

Michael Grimm and Taylor Mathews go on stage and they show their past performance and Howie tells that nobody deserves to go home and that both were great. The second act going through is Michael Grimm. Nick asks if he is proud. Taylor tells that every time he steps on the stage, he was happy and that it was an amazing experience. Michael tells that he thought it was over. Piers tells that Michael was a class act and that he has a real shot to winning the competition.

After the break the sensational Sarah McLaughlin performs her new single and she plays and sings wonderfully as always and entertains the audience with a ballad. She of course receives a standing ovation and Nick calls it incredible and awesome. He asks how she debt with nerves. She tells that deep breathing exercises and practice.

The next acts to go on the judging block are: Jeremy Vanschoonhoven and Christina and Ali. They go to the past performance and Sharon tells that they are perfect examples on how they get better and better. The act going through to the finals is no one! Jeremy says that he had the time of his life and Christina and Ali tells that even though they are going home, they are happy that they touched people’s hearts. Howie tells that the opportunity makes them a winner in itself.

Jackie Evancho and Anna and Patryk come on stage for their decision and they look at their last performances and Piers tells that it has been a great competition they have had. He tells that Anna was very professional and whatever happens, they are both winners. The act going through to the Top 4 is Jackie Evancho. Anna and Patryk tell that they are proud of themselves and they already feel that they are winners and that they want to thank everyone. Nick asks how excited she is. Jackie tells that she is very excited and hopes that everyone enjoys her next act.

The final choice comes up and the acts fighting for their spot in the Top 4 are: Fighting Gravity and Studio One Young Beast Society. Two acts that deserve to go through but only one act is going to be able to go through. Howie tells that they are both phenomenal. The acts line up and the act going through to the Finals next week is Fighting Gravity. Studio One Young Beast Society tells that they are still going to give it their all and keep performing. Fighting Gravity tell that they are grateful for the chance to move forward. So, the Top 4 performing next week are: Prince Poppycock, Michael Grimm, Jackie Evancho, and Fighting Gravity!
