Four acts advance to the top 24 - Recap
Results night and Attack Dance, Dani Shay, Geechy Guy, Daniel Joseph Baker, The Rhinestone Ropers, Dylan Andre, Landon Swank, Smage Bros. Riding Shows, Thomas John, Steven Retchless, Mona Lisa, and Silhouettes are in danger of facing elimination from the competition. Nick comes out and tells that Traces and Hot Shell Ray are going to perform tonight. Piers says that too many acts let themselves down tonight.
The Rhinestone Ropers, Thomas John and Silhouettes come to the stage for their results. Sharon says that the Rhinestone Ropers let themselves down and Thomas John had his act go wrong and it is obvious to her. The act going through to the Semi-Finals is Silhouettes. They cheer and give their opponents a hug. Piers says that Silhouettes were sensational last night and says good luck. They thank America for voting.
“Hot Shell Ray” come out and sings their popular single “Tonight, Tonight”. They show that they have what it takes to be a recording artist. Afterward, Nick says that they are all over the place and have a lot of hits. They tell that they are excited with all the attention.
Steven Retchless, Attack Dance Crew and Geechy Guy come out for their results. Howie says that Attack Dance Crew is not up to par. He says that he doesn’t know if America embraces a male pole dancer. The votes are in and the act going to the Semi-Finals is Steven Retchless. Nick talks to Steve and he says that it feels amazing. Howie says that he likes what he does and America got it right. Piers says that America got it wrong. Howie says that he might be a little outrageous and Sharon tells him to be himself.
Daniel Joseph Baker, Dani Shay and Dylan Andre come out for their results. Piers says that it is a shock that two are going home. He says that Dani was shaky, Dylan was not exciting and Daniel was great. The vote is in and the act moving on is Daniel Joseph Baker. Nick tells him to tell how he feels and Daniel thanks America to allow him to be himself. Sharon says that his act was the best out of their singers.
“Traces” performs on stage and they are amazing and show that they are a show to see on stage. Nick tells when they perform in New York.
Mona Lisa, Smage Bros. Riding Shows and Landon Swank come out on stage. The act leaving the show right now is Mona Lisa. Nick asks them what they are going to take from this and they tell that it has been a great ride. This leaves Smage Bros. Riding Shows and Landon Swank for the judges’ choice. Smage Bros. tell that he doesn’t know if they really want to move on because they are getting close to his body. They laugh. Landon says that he won’t disappoint. Sharon picks Smage Bros. Riding shows. Piers picks Landon Swank. Howie picks Smage Bros. Riding Shows for being the most exciting. The acts moving on are: Silhouettes, Steven Retchless, Daniel Joseph Baker and Smage Bros.
