The Semi Finals Part 2 - 12 Acts Compete - Recap
Tonight is the last Semi-Finals and Landon Swank, Kinetic King, Summerwind Skippers, Gymkana, Snap Boogie, Smage Bros. Riding Shows, Fatally Unique, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., Silhouettes, Professor Splash, Steven Retchless and Anna Graceman are performing for the last 5 spots in the Finals. Nick comes out hanging on a wire so that he doesn’t mess up The Kinetic King’s act. He tells that tonight there is going to be exciting acts.
The Kinetic King is up first and he says that he never thought he would make it to the Semi-Finals and he says that he is going to for a world record. He starts the act and it goes fast and no problems come up. At the end, Piers says that it was another spectacular performance and it is clear that the audience loves him and it is great he is still there. Sharon says that it was sensational and says that she loved it because it was quicker and exciting. She asks how he does it and he jokes. Howie says that it was explosive and it was good.
Fatally Unique is up next and they are emotional that they tell that they are giving hope to everyone and say that they are going to do this. They come out and they do a good job and get a standing ovation at the end. Sharon says they move with great speed and it was amazing and unbelievable. She says that this is the year of the dance. Howie says agrees that it is the year of dance and says that they are phenomenal. Piers says that they are intense and have a great potential. Nick asks what made them go into a different direction and they tell that they started with the style they showed.
Landon Swank is next up and he tells that he has brought in his dad to help with building the set and he will have his dad with him. He is going to be playing a live version of Russian Roulette. He has a hologram tell the judges to pick a detonator and says that he is betting on the ones they pick. He doesn’t get killed and it is amazing. Howie says that he was concerned because they were close to killing him and his heart is pounding. Piers says that he is a good magician and has gotten close to getting in the Top 10. Sharon says that the entire presentation was fantastic and sensationally executed.
Gymkana is next and they tell that they are happy to be there and say that there are many things that are going to happen tonight. They come out doing flips over and over and Piers buzzes them. When they bring out the fire, they mess up and cause the fire to land on one of the gymnasts. He says that he is alright, but they cut it short. Piers says that the reason he buzzed them, but it was repetitive. He says that he feels for them about the fire falling. Nick says that if Piers wouldn’t have buzzed them, they wouldn’t have been nervous. Sharon says that tonight she didn’t see excitement in the performance. Howie says that they did amazing job no matter what.
Summerwind Skippers are next and they tell that they are happy that they got through and want to show that they are worth the judges’ votes. They come out and they make a mistake. At the end the make another one and Piers buzzes them for it. Sharon says that it is great to see the progression they have done and says that it is fantastic. Howie says that they brought edge to skipping and says that they should never deserve a buzz. Piers says that he buzzed them because it wasn’t perfect. He says that at the level they are at. They tell that they brought it tonight and say that they are serious competitors.
Up next is Snap Boogie and he tells that he is still performing on the streets to pay the bills. He says that he wants to show that dance is beautiful. He comes out and he does a flawless job. Howie says that he did great and liked the change and says that it was explosive. Piers says that he didn’t like it and says that it was cheesy. Sharon says that she wasn’t crazy about the other dancers and says that he is edgy and says that he just needs himself. Snap says that he feels good about the performance and defends his dance.
Anna Graceman is next and says that she is happy to be there and that they are going to see her do a song that is her style to a Montle Crue classic. At the end, she gets a standing ovation from the judges and the audience Piers says that was the best performance of the night. Sharon says that it was amazing and her voice was great. She says that it is the performance of the night. Howie says wow. Nick asks Anna how it feels to know that Montle Crue is watching and asks what she wants them to say about her. She says that she hopes that they are saying that she rocked it.
Steven Retchless is next and he says that he wants to show that he can do more with the act. He comes out with other dancers who are girls, and does a phenomenal job. However Piers buzzes. Sharon says that the move that looked like he was walking was the best and the three of them are amazing. Piers says that he can’t see it be a million dollar act. He says that it is not for men. Howie asks if it could be an act and answers himself that it could be. Steven says that he is proud of himself that he did the performance the way he wanted to do it.
Smage Bros. Riding Shows is next and they are going to step it up with involving their family into it, including their grandmother. They come out and do tricks. They jump over the entire family without any injuries. They get a standing ovation from everyone including the judges. Piers says that they did stuff there that was amazing and incredible. Howie says that it was exciting and thrilling. Sharon says that she loves that the whole family getting involved.
Professor Splash is next and he is going to jump from a 70 ft dive into a pool of flames. He does it without any issues. Howie says that it is amazing to watch, but doesn’t know if it is the most. Piers says that he feels that they’ve seen the best of him. Sharon says that it was quite fantastic. Professor Splash says that there were no mistakes and it was fantastic.
Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. is next and he tells that he likes to sing and has his wife to support him in his dream. He comes out and sings and gets a standing ovation from Sharon and Howie and the audience. Sharon says that it makes her feel good and says that his voice is like velvet. Howie says that he deserves to be in the finals. Piers says that wasn’t his best performance and says that his fans are going to have to vote. Eugene says that his fans will vote for him.
Last of the night is Silhouettes. They tell that they are happy to be in the Semi-Finals and that they are going to show them a great performance again. They come out and it is in the theme of creation. It is really well done, but something lacks. Howie says that they did phenomenal and says that they were great. Piers says that it was very good, but not great. He says that they were talented. Sharon says that their act is endless to what they could do. Whereas their performance wasn’t at the best, it is a thing of beauty. The acts have performed and it is up to America to vote through the final 5 to the Top 10.
