The Top 10 perform - Recap

Tonight, Anna Graceman, Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., Landon Swank, Lys Agnes, Miami All-stars, Poplyfe, The Silhouettes, Smage Brothers Riding Shows, Team iLuminate and West Springfield Dance Team perform for the chance to get into the Top 4. Nick comes out and tells that there is no judges pick this week so it is up to America to pick. They show a clip of the Top 10 acts meeting with the judges and having a fun time talking about their acts coming into the finals.

Michael Grimm performs on stage. He shows that he is worth all the fame he has been getting and gets a standing ovation. Nick goes on stage and asks how his life has changed. Michael says that he got married and is almost done with his grandmother’s house. He tells that he is touring with Stevie Nicks.

First to perform for the Top 4 is “Miami All Stars”. Piers buzzes them. Piers says that they became a cheerleader act. They went from being an explosive act to a chicken act. Sharon says that the theme was not that good, but the energy level was high. She says that the choreography was a little bad. Howie says that they took the Miami out of the Miami All Stars by being Americanized. They tell that they thought they did a good job and accepts the criticism from the judges.

Next is Lys Agnes. She tells that she is not afraid to take risks. She comes out and sings an opera version of “Dream On”. Sharon says that it wasn’t that great to do that song in such a low register. Howie says that it is a good voice that she has, but he doesn’t think that this risk will give her the chance to win. Piers says that the other judges don’t know what they are talking about and he says that he was moved by the performance. Lys says that she wanted to show her roots in Rock.

Landon Swank is next and he tells that he is sticking to the simplicity of magic. He comes out and conjures up a fish cracker that he turns into a fish and then puts it in the fish tanks from the side. Howie says that it was amazing. Piers says that it was great and asks if it went the way he wanted it to. Landon says that it is the first time it did work. Sharon says that she loves how his magic is modern and loved it. Landon says that he is happy with it.

Anna Graceman is up next and she tells that she is taking a risk and not using the piano to hide behind. She comes out and sings. Afterward, Piers says that the lower registers are no good, but the higher notes are amazing. Piers says that it was a great performance. Sharon says that felt that it was a bit difficult for her to perform, but she did a great job. Howie says that this isn’t as good as her last and says that it was still good. Anna says that she wanted to connect with the audience more.

Silhouettes are up and they tell that they tell that they have members with conditions and how they show that anything is possible. They comes out and tell a great story. Sharon says that was exquisite and beautiful. Howie says that this is the first Final act that he has seen tonight. Piers says that as he was watching it, they told a beautiful story and that it is really important that they have that and the act is the best act of the night. They tell that they are grateful to be there and thank the judges.

Next is Smage Bros. Riding Shows. They come out and stick to some basic tricks and then make a few mistakes including hitting one of the members in the head with the tire, but he is alright. Howie asks if one of the members is alright because he got hit in the head. He says that it wasn’t the face, so it is alright. Piers says that it wasn’t as good as the last one and it is obvious that they made a mistake a time or two. Sharon says that she thought that it was just as exciting. They tell that they are happy with it.

Poplyfe is next and they are going to be taking a huge risk by singing a Michael Jackson song. They come out and blow up on stage. Piers says for the first time that deserved a standing ovation. He says that they are a great Pop band. Sharon says that she loved the medley and they are going to be in the Top 4. Howie says that if they better get through to the Top 4. They tell that they are happy to be where they are.

West Springfield Dance Team is next and they tell that they are wanting to go all the way with this. They come out in their scary costumes. Piers buzzes them and at the end, Sharon says that there are no surprises now and too predictable. Howie says that they are good, but he says that he doesn’t know if they stepped it out. Piers says that the routine wasn’t special and it was the same. They tell that they did their best and tell that they will work harder.

Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr. is next and he shows that he wants to go all the way. He comes out and at the end, he gets a standing ovation. Howie says that he is a great guy with great talent. Piers says that it was amazing and that he would pay money to get to see him. Sharon says that he is a class act and it was beautiful.

Last up for the night is Team iLuminate. The creator of the team decides to dance with them and they come out. It is amazing as usual. They get a standing ovation and Piers says that it was amazing and that was the best performance of their dances and says that this is the most original act. Sharon says that she feels like she is in Vegas already and says that it was great. Howie says that he is looking at the best act in the competition. The Top 10 have performed and there are only 4 spots for the Top 4
