<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
The Auditions continue and this time they are in Tampa Bay, FL. As the hopefuls wait for the auditions to start, judges Howard, Sharon and Howie come to the auditorium. Nick comes out on stage and welcomes everyone to the Tampa Auditions. Each feels that they have talent and the judges are hopeful.

The first act is “Inspire the Fire” (13-29), a singing/dance crew. They want to show that they have what it takes to make it. They come out and Howard says that they look like “Glee”. They start singing. Afterward, they get a standing ovation. Sharon says that she thought that she was watching a Broadway performance and says that she loved it. Howard says that they make them smile and says that he hates Glee, but he loves them. Howie says that they need to remove the story and it will still be phenomenal. They get through to the next round.

Next up are “NC Bikini Bombshells” (24-32), a dance group. They come out and automatically, the crowd chants “Vegas”. Howie says that they are going to Vegas and asks what they are going to do. They say that they are going to dance. They are cute, but they cannot dance. Howard and Sharon buzzes. Howie says that even though they can’t dance, he still enjoyed it. Howard says that they need to find rich husbands. Sharon tells them that not one of them has enough rhythm. They don’t get through to the next round despite their good looks.

After a bunch of bizarre acts that don’t get through to the next round, “All That” (23-36), a clogging act is hoping to get their own show in Vegas one day. They come out and dance. Afterward, Howie says that they have done enough when they can get people on their feet. Sharon says that they have never seen an all male clogging group. Howard says that it is unique and that it is good to see that they are manly men doing it.

This sets off a bunch of acts that show that they have talent. Afterward, the next act, Michael Griffin” (50), an escape artist comes out on stage. He calls Howard to tie him up and Nick keeps time. After Howard ties him up, they start the timer. Michael manages to get out, but the judges are not impressed. Howard says that he has a lame-o like him tie him up. Sharon says that he needed an expert knot tier. They don’t put him through to Vegas.

Hoping to get through is “The Distinguished Men of Brass” (24-60), a brass band. They come out and say that they were employed at a theme park, but then lost their jobs. They play. Afterward, they get a standing ovation. Howie says that was fun. Sharon says that their hard work has paid off. Howard says that there are people who can’t get to next level. He says that they were great. They go to the next round of the competition.

Last up for the night is Ulysses (49), a singer. He comes out and sings the “Love Boat” theme song. Howard buzzes. Afterward, Howie says that he is great. Howard says that this is not a Million Dollar act. Sharon says that he is great. Howard says that it is still a no. Howie votes yes. Sharon says that he is entertaining and she says that she wants to hear more. Ulysses gets through to the next round. That’s it for the 5th round of auditions!
