A cold case is reenacted as a 19 year old murder victim named Melissa "Missy" Witt had been abducted from the parking lot of a bowling alley in Fort Smith, Ark. on December 1, 1994. Her body was later found on January 1995 in a wooded area. Host John Walsh also makes a visit to the future U.S. Marshals museum in Fort Smith.

Also included is the third suspect of the 2008 slaying of Kenneth Harris Sr., a Baltimore councilman, and Eddie Hicks, a former cop from Chicago who is wanted on racketeering and drug charges.

A profile of former America's Most Wanted fugitives Tina Loesch and Sky Hanson, who committed suicide after being profiled as murderers on the series November 15, 2008 in Arizona. The two were wanted for the killing of Loesch's mother back in 1998 in Idaho. Also, an update on Joey Lynn Offutt, a woman who had disappeared since her home burned down in July '07. other featured fugitives include female murder suspects in Oklahoma and Illinois.

The series counts down it's Top 10 Fugitives of 2008. Included are two men who murdered their girlfriends, Muammer Aldailam from the Bronx, NY, and Jefferey Marshall of Fresno, CA; and Cinthia Rodriguez of Moreno Valley, CA. who is wanted for the death of her boyfriend. Also, Sarah Pender, an escaped Indiana murderer; and the unknown killers of five women in a clothing store from Tinley Park, IL., back in February '08.

An update on Andre Neverson, who was caught on tape by his ex-girlfriend being captured in New York. Law enforcement officers in Anchorage, Alaska, are searching for clues to finding a possible serial killer after two dismembered torsos were found, and more women went missing. Officers in Dothan, Ala. are searching for an unknown killer of Perry Griffin, a 37-year old father of three. An argument about a stolen set of rims in Joplin, MO. may have caused Jose Deleon Cazares to kill a man. And, investigators in North Miami, will never forget the grisly scene they found where a mother and her three children were murdered and buried in makeshift graves. The suspect...Esnel Jean, who is a Haitian voodoo priest.
