A swimsuit model takes up TV-anchor duties at a Texas CBS affiliate in this Fox reality-comedy hybrid. The cameras follow Lauren Jones, a news novice from L.A., as she covers events in conservative Tyler, Texas, and interacts with her new colleagues, some of whom are less than thrilled to be working with her. In the opener, she prepares for her first newscast. Says news director Dan Delgado: “Now we've all got to make sure that we get out of here with our journalistic credentials intact.”
