Holland Manners [S01-S02], played by Sam Anderson
Holland Manners, played by Sam Anderson, had a major recurring character role on the series. Holland Manners appeared on Angel in season one as the Head of the Special Projects division at Wolfram & Hart. He served as a guide for Lindsey and Lilah in trying to keep Angel under control. Holland's first plan was to bring Darla back, which he did, at the season one finale to try to return Angel back to his Angelus persona. Having Darla back backfired when she started to die of what she was dying of when she was human, since she was human. Holland Manners had Drusilla brought to down to sire Darla to a vampire again. Darla and Drusilla killed a lot of the lawyers at Holland's house only sparing Lindsey and Lilah. Holland only returned as a spirit in "Reprise" to show Angel that the real Hell is the hell that is on Earth. |
