When the gang learns that the answer to stopping the Beast is among them, everyone suspects Connor, until Cordelia begins to receive visions from the Powers That Be. Meanwhile, Angel and Gwen discover that the Beast is preparing a device that will blot out the sun permanently and turn the world into a demon playground.

Gunn: I told you there is something up with Connor look how weird he has made her.

Angel: How about you stop pretending to give a damn about my feelings?

Angel: We can win this but we have been beat, which is slightly demoralizing.
| (To Cordelia regarding Angel)
Gwen: You must be the little girl that makes his heart go pitter pat, figuratively speaking.

Gwen: Where were you when they taught you to be still in super power school?
| Cordelia: Why did the small yucky man say that?

Gwen: Gunn, I already apologized for killing you. What do you want? A wake?

Gwen: Seeing as how the holy revelations is going on lately I can see why you might want them.
Gwen is referring to the apocalyptic things occurred recently that seem similar to the biblical book of Revelation.
| Gunn: The answer is among you. Who else do you think creepylocks was talking about?
This is referring to "Goldylocks and the Three Bears."
| Manny: That chick was evil right down to her Mary Jane's.
Manny is referring to a type of shoes with the brand-name of "Mary Jane's".
