too bad this place doesn't get the love it deserves. anywho.
my favorite season was season 3 because,... i don't know really. i just liked the holt angle and wes stealing connor and connor betraying. i just dug it the most start to finish.
my least favorite was season 4 because i never really liked the jasmine character. i know she's in like 6 episodes, but still. it's too pushed on you because of the wb not telling joss if he had a 5th season or not and joss having to deal with that. that and charisma was pregnant and not looking her usually hot self. that's superficial i know, but that's life. it was a fun ride, just not more than the other 4. |

Seasons 2 and 3 were the best by a mile, I think. Season 4 was my least favorite because.. well, it was fun to watch WHILE it was on. There were so many cliffhangers and twists and you just had to find out what was going to happen next. But it's pretty horrible to watch back now becuase nothing fits together or makes sense. It was just a pretty weird season for me... |

I used to like Season 5 the most, but now it's Season 3. I can post a list:

Hi,
Happy New Year, fellow Angelites! First, let's give it up to TNT for running 2 episodes of ANGEL every weekday morn, for the last 3 years or so. I love them for that. Every time they run my fav episode, Not Fade Away, I cross my appendages hoping the pilot, City Of..., runs the next day restarting the run of my all-time fav show.
Anywho... I'm surprised yooz guyz liked the 5th season as much as me. Despite no Cordelia (or Lilah!!), the show got better n better. At least it ended on a high note <sniff>.
Yeah, season 4 really sucked thanks to Jasmine & Connor. Jasmine was poorly cast. I know Joss loves her, but I've seen her in several roles, and I don't think she's very talented. If you can't be talented, be beautiful, right?? Too much 'gum' in that smile, for my taste.
Connor is such a tough character to like. He's such a whiney ingrate. Even in his rare, "lighter" moments I didn't find him likeable; though his personality was very realistic. I have a younger brother just as whiney, selfish, violent & illogical, God help me. Still, in the end, it's up to the actor to make the most of what they're given. Look what Stephanie Romanov did with Lilah?! We should've hated her Evil b***h guts. Even Angel couldn't hate her. No one worked a sarcastic quip as well as her, not even scene-stealing Lorne. You just can't hate a gal with such comic timing, evil or not.
I guess most of my favorite episodes of the series were in the last season; especially the last two of the series, and all the episodes with Illyria. Only Habeus Corpses, and the episodes with Faith were of 5th season quality. Well, that's my story & I'm schticking to it.
BTW, as I'm watching the BONES marathon, I can't help think what a let down for DB it must be to go from a role of such depth to the opposite. Take about a one-dimensional lead character. An Irish(?) Catholic cop! Saints and begora! How original. (I live in Boston, which has more Irish Catholic cops than Dublin) And they had to give him the dumbest first name of all-time (or the 2nd, after "Temperance"??). "Sellheye"?! I'm half-Irish and I've never heard that one before, can't even spell it. Oy. Dave's probably laughing all the way to the bank, like any good Tauras would. Take care everyone ;p..... |
