what i dont get is why did the guy who played doyle leave the show after the first couple episodes. he didnt die till like 3 years later. i'm confused about that and always have been. |

I don't really remember the details, but I think it had something to do with Glen Quinn not getting along with Joss or someone else behind the scenes. |

actually, joss wrote the part like that and Glenn Quinn knew that initally that his character was going to die right away. someone told me that it was because Alexis Denisof couldn't start right away. that could be speculation as i didn't read that anywhere. i just heard it. it was sci-fi/fantasy and he could have come back, but i read that his drug problem prohibited his return and ultimately lead to his death. |
