Charisma Carpenter was actually pregnant during the fourth season of Angel.

Furthermore, Boreanaz and Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia Chase) are the only actors to appear in the first episodes of both series whereas Boreanaz and James Marsters (Spike) are the only actors to appear in the last episodes of both series.
