Mr. Humphries is a mama's boy that still lives with his mother. He is eager to please. When Mr. Peacock requests assistance for a customer, he is quick to respond with an enthusiastic, “I’m free.” Many fans believe that his character is homosexual because of his flamboyant manner and dress, but his sexual orientation was never discussed in the show either way. |
