Episode 102 - Recap

<-- Previous EpisodeNext Episode -->
Larry, a Worcester University graduate, picks Jacob as his first partner and for his first question picks this one from the First Grade:

How many “E’s” are there in the phrase “Pledge of Allegiance”?

He gets it right with some help from Jacob and goes on the 1st Grade Animal Science. He gets asked a question about where walruses are native to but has to peek off of Jacob to confirm his answer. Luckily Jacob is right and Larry wins $2,000.

Jacob is done so Larry picks Kyle to join him next. Kyle suggests he picks an astronomy question. Larry does not know what constellation the Big Dipper is in so Kyle bails him out with the copy cheat.

Jeff Foxworthy asks Larry what he would do with a million dollars and Larry replies that he would take his wife on a shopping spree and buy a camouflage Lamborghini. Jeff tells him that that is a redneck way to paint a car.

Larry picks a 2nd Grade Grammar question next and surprisingly gets the answer right on his own. Kyle sits down and Alana gets up to help him out. He picks the contestant-killing 3rd Grade Measurements category with the question:

How many teaspoons are in 5 tablespoons?

He enters his answer after some thinking but guesses wrong. It’s up to Alana to save him…and she bails him out with the correct answer.

Out of cheats, Larry picks 3rd Grade Health and mentions that he was a Health Sciences major in college. He answers the question “What is the largest bone in the body?” correctly winning $50,000. After quickly getting through the $100,000 question he decides to drop out on this $175,000 2nd Grade World Geography question:

What percentage of the world is covered by oceans?

He confesses that he isn’t smarter than a 5th grader and happily walks away with his cash.

Next, Susan, a perky real estate agent takes the stage and chooses Laura as her 5th grade helper. She picks 1st Grade Grammar for her first question which she breezes through for $1,000 and moves on to 1st Grade Animal Science. She is asked which species of bear is the largest. With some help from Laura, she chooses the Polar Bear. Laura is right and Susan wins $2,000. Laura sits down and Susan chooses Spencer as her new helper.

Her next question is:

How many US states border the Pacific Ocean?

She answers wrong but is saved by Spencer much to the delight of Susan's husband who is sitting in the audience. Her next question is a True or False about cirrus clouds and stratus clouds. She doesn’t know the answer so decides to copy off of Spencer. Before the answer is revealed, the show ends and the answer is left to be revealed on the next episode.
