The screamer Ebony is back with $25,000 already in the bank and is on only 5 questions away from one million dollars! She chooses 3rd Grade Geography and draws this question:

True or False: North America is in the Eastern Hemisphere?

She chooses wrongly but Jacob comes through with the save. Jacob has to sit down and Spencer takes his place. Spencer tells Ebony he’s a math geek so she picks 5th Grade Algebra. Her question is:

If y=3x and 3x=12 then what does y equal?

Spencer almost immediately puts his answer in but Ebony has a little trouble answering the question. She locks in her answer which is…that she is dropping out of school. Ebony walks away with $50,000 and admits that she isn’t smarter than a 5th grader.

Next, an energetic real estate agent named Avis comes to the podium. Jeff actually has her 5th grade report card which has her teacher saying that she doesn’t finish her assignments. Avis is a little embarrassed and after Jeff runs down the rules jumps into the game with Kyle as her helper.

Avis picks 3rd Grade Astronomy as her first question for $1,000 which is:

On which planet would a person weigh the most?
Mercury
Saturn
Jupiter

Avis picks correctly and moves on to $2,000. She picks 2nd Grade Social Studies.

Which US President is featured on the face of the nickel?

Surprisingly she gets it right as does Kyle, who leaves the podium. Jacob comes up to fill Kyle’s shoes and mentions that he looks like Dash from “The Incredibles”. After some banter, Jacob helps her choose 4th Grade Math for the $5,000 question which is:

If the diameter of a circle is 4 inches then what is the radius?

Avis decides to guess and hope for the save if she guesses wrong. After using the peek to look at Jacob’s answer, she locks in her answer and gets it right moving onto the $10,000 question. She chooses 5th Grade US Geography next and gets this question:

True or False: Ohio shares a border with Illinois?

Jacob has the same answer as her making the save possibility a little dubious until Jeff reveals the answer confirming Avis’ correct answer. Jacob goes back to the class and Spencer gets up to help her. Jeff asks Spencer which subject are his best and he answers Grammar and Physical Sciences, so Avis chooses 5th Grade Physical Sciences and gets this question:

Density describes the mass of an object divided by what?

Having no idea what the answer is, she chooses to copy off Spencer. Citing a blonde moment, she says she does not know and is really relying on Spencer. Spencer is only 90% sure of the answer. Spencer saves her and she gets $25,000.

Avis asks Spencer which question she should choose and he says grammar. She picks 4th Grade Grammar.

What is the adverb in the following sentence?
My father snored loudly and it kept my mom awake.

She gets is right and earns $50,000. Spencer has to sit down and Laura joins Avis on stage. Laura says she is good at spelling and in a special audio only question is asked how many letters are in the word yak? She locks in her answer to find out the Laura has the same answer. Jeff then informs her that she has the right answer. Avis moves on to the $175,000 question in 3rd Grade Animal Science.

The giant panda’s natural habitat is on what continent?

Avis gets it right and Laura goes to sit down. Alana takes her place and Avis is on to the $300,000 question in 2nd Grade Measurements which is:

How many months of the year have 31 days?

Avis is nervous while answering but uses a rhyme she learned in grade school to help her out. Her remaining question in 1st Grade World Geography is:

What is the only continent that is also a country?

Unable to guess, she decides to drop out. Poor Avis.
