This week on “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader”, HR Coordinator Monica roller skates onto the stage and Jeff shows a picture of her in elementary school. She picks Kyle and 1st Grade Animal Science to start.

Monica takes a chance and locks in her answer. She’s right and makes $1,000. She moves on to the difficult 4th Grade Earth Science for $2,000.

Kyle locks in his answer and Monica locks in too. She wins $2,000. Kyle has to sit so Monica picks Alana to join her. Jeff reveals that Alana just lost a tooth and asks her what the tooth fairy gave her. She says he gave her a dollar and Jeff says that the price hasn’t gone up much since he was a kid.

Monica picks 1st Grade Spelling for $5,000.

Alana locks in and Monica chooses her answer. It’s a relatively easy one so she picks up the $5,000. She moves onto 4th Grade Health for $10,000.

The hardest tissue in the human body covers up the teeth. What is its name?

Alana locks in with reckless abandon. Monica thinks she knows the answer and aggressively locks in her answer. She gets it right and earns the $10,000. Alana has to sit so Monica picks Jacob to help her out.

Jacob helps Monica pick her next category – 5th Grade World History.

Monica looks stumped. If only she knew more about Lucky Lindy she would know the answer but she doesn’t so she peeks of Jacob. He reveals his answer as San Francisco and now it’s up to Monica to determine if his answer is correct. She disagrees and goes with Boston. Jeff asks the rest of the class and no one has the right answer. Unfortunately, she’s wrong too and has to go home with no money.

Next up is security consultant Tom. He picks Kyle as his first helper and picks 2nd Grade World History.

Tom eliminates 1400 BC as his answer and locks in 1400 AD. He’s wrong but luckily, Kyle saves him and he gets $1,000.

Tom survives a series of tough questions and end up dropping out on question 7 with $50,000. His wife Brooke comes on stage at then end of the game and announces she’s pregnant.
