Michael Bluth is considered to be the most "put together" member of the Bluth family. The other members of the family are considered more whacky than Michael.

This is why Michael has the task of suceeding George Sr, in running the Bluth company. He has a son George Michael Bluth. He was married but his wife passed away.

He is lives with most of his family and constantly being annoyed by them, even though many occasions he has said "Family First" his general opinion is he wants to get out of the family but can't. He has a strong rivaly with one of his brothers (which was incouraged by their dad) G.O.B.

Lindsay, the only female sibling of the Bluth's loves to spend the family's money on things such as clothes. She is married to Tobias and they both have one child together, Maeby.

George Oscar Bluth, or G.O.B. is the oldest brother of the Bluth siblings. He is a somewhat unsucessful magician who got kicked out of the magicians alliance when the secret of one of his tricks was revealed on the news, but he will not let that stop him, he tries to do as much magic at any possible moment ever. A trademark of his, is that whenever he performs a magic show the song "The Final Countdown" by Europe is always playing. Much like Lindsay he relies on the money of the Bluth company. He has a strong rivalry with his brother Michael but they can co-exist as brothers.

George Michael Bluth, son of Michael Bluth is a neurotic teenage guy who runs the family's banana stand. George Michael wants to do right by his father but his secret and forbidden crush on Maeby, his cousin, leads him to do things out of his comfort zone in order to impress her.

Maeby is the mischevious rebel of the Bluths. Daughter of Linsday and Tobias, who feel that they shouldn't punish their her, Maeby uses this to her advantage as she constantly finds new ways of causing trouble and decieving people.

Buster is the youngest of the Bluth siblings. He's a 30 year old man that has been mothered too much by Lucille and it still has an effect on him. Afraid somewhat of the world, Buster is a fragile being, and to make matters worse, an incident with a loose seal didn't help. Buster has ventured away from the nest at various occasions, and even had a fling with his mother's arch-enemy, Lucille 2.

Tobias married in the Bluth family by way of Lindsay. Together, they had Maeby, and Tobias has struggled to be a good father ever since. Tobias was once a psychiatrist, but got his licence taken away when trying to perform CPR on someone who was alive. Now, Tobias is following his dream of being an actor, however the new career is unsucessful, including a failed stint as a stand-in for the Blue Man Group and small parts in movies. But Tobias is undeterred, and continues to pursue his career stumbling into inadvertently homosexual circumstances along the way.

Lucille Bluth is the crazy mother of the Bluth family. She's very self-centered although she has shown affection to her children, especially Buster. She constantly manipulates her children into getting what she wants, no matter the cost.

George Sr. is the father of the family and is the reason that the Bluths are in the situation they are in. He is sent to jail for participating in illegal house deals. Despite being in prison, George continues to control and manipulate his family with considerable help from Gob. George has a twin brother named Oscar (also played by Tambor).
