| Lucille: Give me a vodka rocks.
Michael: Mom, it's breakfast.
Lucille: And a piece of toast. | Sitwell: The only thing I ask is out of the four hundred and fifty homes we build, one be given to a disadvantaged family from the inner city.
G.O.B.: That's great, so the other 449 families live in fear? Is that what we're saying? Come on! | Maeby: Hey, how do you think I feel? He was the one who said he would help me on this essay for The Old Man and The Sea.
Michael: I’ll help you with that later.
Maeby: Oh, great. Okay. So, you have to read this and then explain it, and this is important: you have to say it in my own words, okay? Smart, but not too smart. Let’s have a four syllable max. | Tobias: I have an audition tomorrow. I’m up for a minor but meaty role in a feature film. Confidence Man Two.
G.O.B.: Oh, yeah? I didn’t see the first Confidence Man.
Tobias: No. Confidence Man Two is my character. | Maeby: How about I come with you? I mean, I could help you prepare.
Tobias: Yes, well, it’s for a con man, which I don’t think you know anything about. And besides, don’t you have school?
Maeby: No. Um ... today is “Help Your Dad Follow His Dream Day.”
Tobias: Great. We can take the carpool lane. | Michael: What do you think of when you hear the word Sudden Valley?
George Michael: Salad dressing, I think. But for some reason, I don’t want to eat it.
Michael: Right. But Paradise Gardens ... ?
George Michael: Yeah. Okay, I can ... I can see marinating a chicken in that. |

| Visual: G.O.B playing catch with George, Sr.
G.O.B. finally playing catch with George, Sr. is a reference to "Key Decisions" when G.O.B. confesses that all he wants to do is play catch with his father. | G.O.B.'s chipped tooth
G.O.B. chips a tooth during the softball game, causing him to whistle when he talks. This is a reference back to "Charity Drive" when G.O.B. chips a tooth on a candied apple (despite the "Proprietor not responsible for dental damage" sign) which also causes him to whistle when he talks. | Visual: G.O.B.'s chicken dance
G.O.B.'s chicken dance was first seen in "Staff Infection". | Visual: Television frame falling off
The television frame falls off during the episode, similar to "Let 'Em Eat Cake". | Tobias gets a job as a security officer. He was a security officer once before in the episode "Not Without My Daughter". |
