On The Next Arrested Development Gag: Michael relives a wedding nightmare.

This episode was originally scheduled to air on November 14, but due to low ratings, producers pushed the air date to be after sweeps finished.

Lucille: Where's your hand?
Buster: I'm having my high school ring put on it. And my hook is stuck in the stair car.

Michael: It does seem like you've been having a lot of trouble since the hair transplants. Maybe you should see a buboman.
Tobias: A ... buboman?
Michael: A doctor. It's a British expression, like they say "go up box" instead of "elevator".
Tobias: Oh, yes. Like when they say "poofter" to mean "tourist".

Rita: Is that a magic trick? I love magic.
G.O.B.: I don't appreciate the dry British humor.

Michael: You've never told me how many houses there are in the British Parliament.
Rita: Seven.
Michael: Are there?
Narrator: The answer is three.
Michael: Does sound about right.
Narrator: Three is the correct answer.

George Michael: I’m sorry. We really should get another tape.
Michael: Mm.
George Michael: I mean, they’re not expensive.

George Michael: Well, I’ve been thinking. You know, I mean, every society has their own rules about this stuff. For instance, in some states, it’s legal to marry your own cousin. California’s blocked it twice, but that’s only because they tacked it onto an estate law thing that wasn’t gonna pass. We had the signatures.
Michael: You’re 16, and you know all that. She’s 30 and a half. She probably can’t list the seven Houses of Parliament.
George Michael: There’s three.

George, Sr.: All right, now look, just because a woman gets pregnant doesn’t mean you have to marry her. Too many lives have been ruined because some cheap waitress at a HoJo said she used an IUD.
Lucille: It was Stuckey’s.
George, Sr.: But I believed you.

Buster's dance is a reference to Tony Hale, who plays Buster, dancing inside a car for a Volkswagon commercial.

The ugly photo of Rita (Charlize Theron) was from the movie Monster in which Charlize Theron starred as a serial killer.

Tobias: Oh, like when they say “poofter” to mean “tourist,” yes.

In reality, "poofter" is slang for homosexual in the UK.

Rita: (to Michael) Rita corny.

Rita's line similar to George, Sr. telling Michael "Daddy horny" before Michael arranges for a conjugal visit in "Visiting Ours".

Rita: And I want to have pop-pop.
Trevor: Well, the very fact that you call it that, tells me you’re not ready.

Rita and Trevor's scene parallels an exchange between George Michael and Michael in "Good Grief!".

Narrator: ... $15 thing of candy beans.

The narrator also describes a "thing of candy beans" in "For British Eyes Only".

Michael: I've made a huge mistake.
