Episode discussion for: 01x01 | Pilot (Oct 10, 2012)

So, this seems to be a show that can turn out to be an intersting thing to follow. Really enjoyed the pilot episode. Maybe a bit "too much" at some points, but overall very enjoyable.

The show has potential if the writers stay on track. Lots of embedded entries by the writers, from scene of Deathstoke's mask on the island, to the mention of Dan Didio; oh and how about the Andy Diggle's alter ego as the body guard? Every character seems to have their secrets implied as a Pilot shocker, and potentially may be a seed for later episodes, or even part of the overall plot. We see a lot of known DC Comic villains showing up as family and friend characters. We'll see. If you are OK with the melodrama and sometimes poor acting, you find a new favorite show in this.

I give this a 7 out 10.

When was Dan Didio mentioned?

Who the heck is Dan Didio??? What am I missing? Do I need to be a comic nerd to know this stuff? Other than the implied geeky secrets, i really liked this show and am looking forward to next week.

Dan Didio is the current co-publisher at DC Comics, and ushered in the current New 52.

Much better than I expected (I had very low expectations), will keep me watching for a few more episodes to see how it develops.

Just watched the Pilot and like the above comments i was pleasently surprised to how much i enjoyed it,thought it was great,rollon the next episode.

I might need to rewatch all of TBBT just to start understanding DC comic-speak
