Season 1: My name is Oliver Queen. For five years I was stranded on an island with only one goal. Survive. Now I will fulfill my father's dying wish. To use the list of names he left me and bring down those who are poisoning my city. To do this, I must become someone else. I must become... something else.

Arrow is a modern retelling of the adventures of legendary DC hero Green Arrow. Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg are the writers and executive producers.

Really enjoying the show. The acting is light years ahead of Smallville. Only thing I wish they had was C.C.H. Pounder to play Amanda Waller like the she did for the Justice League animated series. Read more

3x21: Al Sah-Him recap: Oliver undergoes training for three weeks as the Heir to the Demon, Ah Sah-Him, as Ra's continues to tell him that Oliver Queen is gone. Oliver finally says that his past is gone. Maseo brings Diggle over, and Diggle says that he never made it home and they held him prisoner for weeks. Ra's hands Oliver a sword and tells him to dispose of the intruder. Oliver has Maseo free Diggle and give him a sword, and then attacks him. He easily takes Diggle down and kills him, and then kicks him over to reveal that it's a different man. Ra's explains that he has been giving Oliver a drug to bring his conscience to the forefront. He asks Oliver what he saw, but Oliver doesn't respond. Ra's then tells Oliver that he must see a place from the past, now home only for the dead... read more.

3x20: The Fallen recap: After Ra's leaves, Thea crawls across the floor to her cell phone. Oliver comes in and sees his sister dying on the floor, and runs to her. As he calls 911, Thea says that she couldn't stop Ra's. They get Thea to the ER and Dr. Vaca tells him to stay outside while they work on her. 3x16: The Offer recap: Oliver tells Ra's to kill him but spare Diggle's life. Ra's says that he doesn't want to kill him: he wants Oliver to take his place as the next Ra's al Ghul. He explains that the title is greater than any one man, and has Oliver untied. Oliver and Maseo follow Ra's to where several of the assassins are sparring. One is defeated and Ra's takes his sword and instructs him, and then hands the sword back.
