Emily finds out that Paul has said to Meg that she is fine with Meg staying at Fairwinds with Eliza. When Barbara finds out about Henry and Vienna's party plans she heads off to see her son to ask him for some advise. Chris learns from Allison that she is considering taking a job away from Oakdale. Chris invites her to the party. Vienna quizzes Henry about the reason he agreed to marry her. When Barbara gets drunk and causes a scene at the party, Paul realizes that his mother was wanting advise about Henry. Henry discovers an upset Barbara in Old Town. As Emily tells Paul that she doesn't trust Meg, she listens in. Both Vienna and Katie wonder where Henry has disappeared to. Katie isn't happy when she finds Henry with Barbara. When Emily returns to Fairwinds she sees Meg asleep in bed with Paul.
