Pauls confession that he killed Dusty shatters Jennifer, confirms Hals suspicions and stuns an eavesdropping Meg. Barbara suspects hes covering for Emily, but Paul denies. Jennifer demands to know why Paul would do such a thing. Paul claims it was an accident, but the police would never believe him, so Paul buried Dusty in the woods...though he cant remember where. As Paul is talking, Meg has a flashback to the night Dusty disappeared - and blood on her own hands. Later, Jack confronts Meg about Dustys death, but Meg swears she had nothing to do with it. After, Meg asks Paul why he did it. He tells her he did what had to be done. Chardonnay questions Carly about Nick. Carly hedges, but Chardonnay realizes that Nick is a cop. Chardonnay agrees not to tell anyone as she and Carly prepare to entrap Nick. Meanwhile, Jack and Nick butt heads over Carly, and Nick goes home to Katie, who is melancholy, missing Mike. Katie confides in Nick she has a big surprise shes just dying to tell Mike about, but now she cant. While Nick is in another room, Katie picks up a note with his name on it - and a hotel room key. Will and Gwen stand before a judge who wants to know why he should marry a couple of underage kids? Gwen explains how until she met Will, she never knew what it was like to have someone who cares about her, while Will admits that Gwen helped him realize that he didnt need to be a screw-up to get attention. The judge agrees and Casey hands over his last twenty dollars so Maddie can make Gwen look like a bride. While the girls are shopping, Will thanks Casey for driving them here, and asks his former best friend to be his best man. With Maddie as her maid of honor, Gwen enters the judges chambers to marry Will.
